Objective: To take any children's book and reimagine a full spread and cover art in your own style.
Concept: I chose a book titled "Little Penguin's Tale", written by Audrey Wood, to reimagine in my own style. The spread I reimagined features a moment in the story when the main character ends up in a "madcap club" that is full of all kinds of animals having a fun time. Using Procreate and Adobe InDesign, I was able to create the illustration and type layout for this piece. I used a lot of texture and overlays to achieve the overall look on the page.
